Katie Merrell

Katie Merrell is a seasoned Senior Environmental Engineer III at King County, with a career spanning over two decades at the organization. Responsibilities include project management across various phases, oversight of Environmental Scientist I and II staff, and management of contracts with external consultants. Previous roles include Lead Environmental Engineer II, where regulatory compliance and project inquiries were critical, and Environmental Engineer Technician I, providing essential support for the Endangered Species Act program.
