Alanoud Alshami

Alanoud Alshami is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in pediatric nephrology and kidney transplantation. Currently serving as the Section Head for the Pediatric Nephrology and Kidney Transplant department at King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam since July 2017, Alanoud has also been a member of the Institutional Review Board at the same institution since June 2015. Alanoud previously held the role of Director for the pediatric nephrology fellowship program at the Saudi Council of Health Specialists from November 2019 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes a position as a consultant pediatric nephrologist and kidney transplant specialist in February to August 2015 and as a pediatric nephrology and kidney transplant fellow at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver from July 2011 to August 2014. Alanoud's educational background includes a Clinical fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology and Kidney Transplant, as well as a Master's of Health Sciences in Clinical Epidemiology, both obtained from The University of British Columbia.
