Darrin Bell

Darrin Bell is an accomplished syndicated cartoonist with extensive experience in political cartooning and storyboarding. Currently serving as a syndicated cartoonist for King Features since August 2018, Bell has also maintained a long-term role as an editorial cartoonist under Darrin Bell Cartoons since January 1995, providing award-winning cartoons for the Washington Post Writers Group. Previously, Bell held the position of syndicated cartoonist with the Washington Post Writers Group from September 2003 to March 2023, and worked as a storyboard artist for Darrin Bell Storyboards from April 2012 to September 2022, specializing in storyboards for film, TV, and commercials. Bell's early career includes a tenure as a syndicated cartoonist with Universal Press Syndicate from September 2001 to February 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of California, Berkeley, and coursework at the Otis School of Art and Design in 2012.
