Gorka Sesma M.d

Gorka Sesma M.D. serves as the Chairman of the Pediatric Ophthalmology Division at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) since July 2018 and also holds the position of Assistant Professor at Alfaisal University since January 2018. Prior roles include Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Strabismus at Unidad Oftalmológica de Caracas from 2017 to 2018 and Consultant within the Pediatric Ophthalmology Division at KKESH from 2016 to 2017. Gorka Sesma was associated with the Venezuelan Association for the Advance of Ophthalmology (AVAO) as an Associate Professor from 2002 to 2017 and worked as a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Strabismus at Unidad Oftalmologica de Caracas from 2002 to 2016. Educational credentials include a Postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology from Universidad Central de Venezuela, and an M.D. from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Academic training was further enhanced with studies at Harvard University.
