Shaun Hammond is currently the Chief Actuary of Life at King Price Insurance since October 2020. Prior to this role, Shaun worked at Deloitte from June 2016 to October 2020 as an Associate Director, focusing on insurance consulting in Life and Non-life areas. Shaun also has experience at EY as a Senior Manager and at Munich Re as an Actuarial Contractor in Life Insurance Financial reporting. Shaun has a BCom in Actuarial Science from Stellenbosch University and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Shaun also holds the FASSA degree from the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
