Carmen Toledo is a distinguished attorney currently serving as a Partner at King & Spalding since 2005 and concurrently holding the position of National Director and Chair of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Law Committee at DRI since October 2018. Toledo has an extensive legal career at King & Spalding, having progressed from Associate (1991-1998) to Counsel (1999-2004) before becoming Partner. Prior experience includes an Associate role at Sidley & Austin (1987-1991) and a Summer Associate position at McConnell Valdés LLC in 1985. Carmen Toledo earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School (1984-1987) and holds an A.B. in English from the University of California, Davis (1982-1983), having participated in an exchange program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1980-1981), following studies at the Universidad de Puerto Rico and graduating from Academia Sagrado Corazon.
