Lea Thompson

Lea Thompson currently serves as the Associate Director of Recruiting at King & Spalding, a position held since November 2007, where responsibilities include leading lateral associate, counsel, and judicial clerk recruitment for the firm's U.S. operations. Prior roles include Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Coordinator, and Lateral Recruiting Coordinator at Agnes Scott College, where recruitment efforts spanned six states. Earlier experience includes a position as Training Fellow at the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council, managing recruitment and placement for a selective honors program, and as a Post-Graduate Law Fellow at Emory University School of Law, focusing on research and writing in child law. Thompson holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of South Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Agnes Scott College.
