Syed Anwar

Syed Anwar (Faisal) has extensive work experience in the field of financial reporting and audit. Syed started their career at KPMG in Pakistan in 2002 as an Audit Trainee and later became a Junior Auditor, before eventually becoming an Audit In-charge (Training Contract). In 2007, Syed joined KPMG in the Cayman Islands and worked as a Senior Accountant until 2013, progressing to the role of Audit Manager (Financial Services). Syed then moved to KPMG British Virgin Islands, where they worked as a Manager and eventually became a Senior Manager in the Audit department. In 2016, Syed joined KPMG US as a Senior Manager, specializing in Audit for Asset Management. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Financial Reporting at King Street Capital Management since 2023.

Syed Anwar (Faisal) completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics & Political Science from the University of Peshawar from 2002 to 2004. Syed also pursued an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification in Accounting & Finance from 2002 to 2006.
