Amy N. Mann has over 20 years of work experience in the education field. Amy N. started their career in 2000 as a Teacher at Pulaski County Schools and then moved to Durham Public Schools in 2002, where they served as a Reading Recovery Specialist until 2006. In 2009, Amy joined Scott County Schools as a Teacher until 2013 when they became the Director of Online Learning at King University, a position they currently hold.

Amy N. Mann obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Radford University, graduating in 2000. Amy N. then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Literacy Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing their studies in 2007. In 2013, Amy received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education from Walden University.
