Anna Furness

Anna Furness is an accomplished legal and operations professional with extensive experience in both strategy and legal counsel across various industries. Currently, Anna serves as the Head of Strategy & Operations for Shared Tech at King, having begun in August 2018 and reporting directly to the CTO. Prior to this, Anna held the role of Director of Legal at King, providing commercial and product advice. Notable past roles include Axiom Lawyer, Legal Counsel at Diageo, and multiple positions at Tesco where Anna significantly contributed to legal and regulatory matters related to procurement and commercial contracts. Anna's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Z Energy NZ, where the legal team received the In-House Team of the Year award, and practicing as a Solicitor at Chapman Tripp and Fortune Manning. Anna holds a BA/LLB in Law and Political Studies from The University of Auckland.
