Damian Taranto

Damian Taranto, PhD, is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Deliveroo since August 2022, previously serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Vodafone from November 2020 to August 2022, where a team of Data Scientists delivered scalable machine learning solutions across EU markets. Experience includes working at QBE Europe as a Data Scientist, focusing on designing recommender systems and pricing models, and at Generali Italia, developing tailored machine learning algorithms within a large Data Science team. Prior to these roles, Damian worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Scuola Normale Superiore, studying the market impact of trading, and interned at Capital Fund Management, analyzing high-frequency trading activity.
