Azzam Al-barrak, MS, PMP, currently serves as Advisor to the Assistant Minister for International Relations at the Ministry of Finance in Saudi Arabia, a position held since March 2023. Previously, Azzam held multiple roles at the Saudi Fund for Development from September 2009 to February 2023, including Director of East African Operations Department, Country Manager for the Operations Department, and Projects Manager. Early career experiences include serving as an Operations Officer at The World Bank from October 2018 to September 2019, an Industrial Engineer at Alsalam Aircraft Company, and an engineer tasked with establishing the Saudi Council of Engineers office at King Saud University. Azzam holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Wilkes University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University, complemented by an Associate’s Degree in English Language from Virginia Tech Language and Culture Institute.
