Mohammed Dammas

Mohammed Dammas currently serves as the Director of IT Planning and Governance at the Ministry of Finance in Saudi Arabia since 2019, leading the development of IT strategy and managing the annual budget for the Ministry's IT general department. Previously, at the Ministry's Deputyship of IT and Development, Mohammed held the position of Director of Delivery and Achievements Unit, overseeing the implementation of digital transformation strategies and reporting project progress to senior leadership. With extensive experience at STC from 2001 to 2019, Mohammed managed high-impact projects focused on 3G, 4G, and 5G network implementations as Special Projects Section Manager, and led successful ADSL and fibre-to-the-home projects as Project Manager. Key achievements include the deployment of one million fast-track DSL lines across STC's network. Mohammed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Sciences from King Saud University and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
