Angela Bartlett (She/Her)

Angela Bartlett's work experience begins in 2013 when she worked as a Senior Internal Auditor for DentaQuest, performing financial, operational, and IT audits.

In 2018, Angela held multiple roles, starting as an Internal Audit Manager at United Automobile Insurance Company, where she developed and executed the company's first IT and Financial Audit Plan. Angela also worked as an IT Management Consultant for Steven Douglas Associates and Elevate Consult, providing disaster recovery consulting to a regional bank. Additionally, they worked as an IT Project Manager and Technical Writer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, obtaining interim secret clearance and bringing the organization up to compliance with NIST standards.

In 2019, Angela worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at the U.S. Courts of Appeals, integrating the Judiciary Framework with desired scorecard committee policies and updating and writing model IT policies. Angela also held the role of an Information Security and Compliance Specialist at Apps Associates, leading the preparation for SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits based on AICPA guidelines.

In 2020, Angela worked as an IT Security Analyst at MA Trial Courts, drafting and updating information security standards and procedure documents. Currently, she is employed as an Information Security Analyst at Kingfisher Systems, Inc., where she performs information gathering and testing related to business continuity and drafts business continuity policies aligned with NIST 800-53.

Throughout her career, Angela has showcased her expertise in information security, compliance, project management, and auditing in various industries and organizations.

Angela Bartlett has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. Angela obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting/Business Information Systems from Illinois State University. Angela also earned an Associate's degree in Science with a focus on Accounting from Sauk Valley Community College. Angela further expanded her knowledge by completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Prana Power Yoga, now known as YogaWorks. In 2018, they pursued additional education in Investments and Securities at The Online Trading Academy and gained expertise in Enterprise Security Fundamentals, Databases in Azure, and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence through courses at Microsoft. Angela also explored Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Harvard University and Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute of Technology. In terms of certifications, Angela holds the following: AWS Technical Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (obtained in December 2019), Registered Yoga Teacher 500 hr certification from Yoga Alliance (obtained in April 2023), CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor certification from ISACA (obtained in June 2018), and Certified Financial Examiner certification from the Society of Financial Examiners (obtained in April 2010).
