Edward Gaines has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. edward started their career in 1982 as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) in Information and Security Management in the United States Air Force. After serving for more than 20 years, they joined SAIC as a Senior Information Systems Security Analyst in 2005.

In 2014, Edward moved to Tetra Tech, where they worked as a Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst and Subject Matter Expert until 2016. edward then joined CACI International Inc as a CACI A&A Lead, Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst, and worked there until 2017.

Prior to that, in 2010, they achieved the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, also from ISACA. Lastly, in 2008, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA.
