Michael Jones Ph.D is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Currently serving as Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Kingfisher plc since June 2022, Michael leads the development of the Hello Casto project and heads the Athena Platform, Kingfisher's generative AI orchestration framework. Previously, as a Senior Data Scientist at Kokoon Technology from June 2020 to May 2022, Michael was responsible for creating and maintaining machine learning and deep learning services while deriving bespoke analytics from unique user data. Michael's early career includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Huddersfield, focusing on next-generation 3D printing technology, and teaching positions at the University of Manchester.
