Monique Devane

Appointed to the King’s Academy Board of Trustees in 2020, Monique DeVane has dedicated her professional life to education. In 2011, she took over as head of school at College Preparatory School in Oakland, California after working in admissions at Brown University and in senior administrative positions at both boarding and day schools. She currently serves on the board of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Ms. DeVane holds a Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior from Brown University, and a Master’s in positive organizational development and change from Case Western University.
