Irene Jiang

Irene Jiang is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in writing, education, and the arts. Currently serving as a Screenplay Consultant at Slamdance since May 2021, Jiang also contributes to education as Instructional Support Staff at Study Smart Tutors, aiding students from under-resourced schools in developing essential skills in math and English Language Arts. Jiang's previous roles include Tour Guide and Bourbon Steward at Kings County Distillery, Content Strategist at Meta with IntraEdge, and multiple positions at Business Insider, including Reporter and Junior Reporter. Additionally, an Editorial Intern at Roads & Kingdoms and a U.S. Student Grantee in Creative Arts through The Fulbright Program, Jiang's background is further strengthened by a comprehensive education from Northwestern University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV/Film and Middle East and North African Studies was earned.
