Nigel Merchant

Nigel Merchant began their career in 1978 with Midland Bank, which later became HSBC Bank. Nigel worked their way up through the branch network, starting in retail and eventually moving into management roles. In 2006, the processing centre where they were working in Bristol closed down, and they took redundancy.

In December 2006, they started working at Kings Court Trust in Bath. Nigel is currently the Technical Manager there.

Nigel Merchant attended Hardenhuish school in Chippenham.

They work with Phil Leach - Head of Risk & Compliance, David Masterton - Chief Revenue Officer, and Simon Barber - Technical Manager. Some direct reports include Kate Sedgwick - Technical Specialist, Catherine Cowan - Technical Specialist, and Tom Stead - Technical Estate Coordinator. Their manager is Simon Hancox, CEO.
