Clyde Sbravati

Chief Compliance Officer at King’s Daughters Medical Center

Clyde Sbravati joined the KDMC management team in 1991 as Director of Pharmacy. He assumed the role of Chief Compliance Officer in July of 2020. As Chief Compliance Officer, Sbravati is responsible for developing policies and procedures to insure KDMC is compliant with all applicable federal and state laws governing the medical center. He has been instrumental in leading the organization’s standards of conduct putting an emphasis on the values established by our mission to always provide quality health and wellness in a Christian environment to our community.

“Growing up in a rural area in north Mississippi, I recognized early the importance of healthcare team members working together. The town physician and the local pharmacist worked well together to meet the needs of our small community. My career has always been dedicated to developing healthcare programs that promote cooperative efforts among healthcare team members to provide safe and fiscally sound patient care. “

Mr. Sbravati has served several roles during his tenure with KDMC. He has worked as Division Manager for Ancillary Services which included Pharmacy, Material Management, Clinical Laboratory Services, Radiology, Cardiopulmonary Services, and Emergency Medical Services. Recently he served in a position responsible for managing the Pharmacy, Material Management, and as the Organization’s Safety Officer.

Prior to his work at KDMC, Mr. Sbravati was the director of the Drug Information Services and Coordinator of the Pharmacy Computer Systems, Pharmacokinetics Services, and Quality Assurance programs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson Mississippi. While there he held positions of Assistant professor of Clinical Pharmacy services with the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and served on the Board of the Medical Center’s Poison Control Center.

He is a member of the Mississippi Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and served as President of that organization as well as Continuing Education Coordinator for several years. He is also a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, American Society of Healthcare Engineers, Mississippi hospital Association and Mississippi Pharmacist Association.
