Tamara Dopwell

Tamara Dopwell is an experienced social worker with a diverse background in both educational and medical settings. Currently serving as a School Social Worker for the NYC Department of Education since September 2021, Tamara also works as a Medical Social Worker at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Advanced Care Physicians, providing psychosocial support and care coordination. In a role as a Child Protective Specialist at Administration Children Services since March 2008, Tamara investigates allegations of abuse or neglect. Previous experience includes serving as CEO of Designs by Tee and a Waiver Service Provider for the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services. Tamara's educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Penn State Altoona.
