Asanka Gamage

Asanka Gamage has a strong background in finance, with experience in various roles. Asanka currently holds the position of Head of Finance at Kingsley Napley, a role they have held since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP for five years, starting as a Financial Accountant in March 2014 and eventually being promoted to the role of Financial Controller. In this position, they were responsible for managing the reporting function in the finance team and providing guidance and mentoring to the staff. Before joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, Asanka worked at Grant Thornton Australia as a Senior - Audit & Assurance, where they prepared statutory financial statements and managed audit teams.

Asanka Gamage completed a Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from La Trobe University between 2006 and 2009. Asanka Gamage also attended Penleigh and Essendon Grammar from 2000 to 2005, but did not complete a specific degree or field of study during that time.
