Michael Ingelög

Michael Ingelög is an intrapreneur turned entrepreneur, board member and a private investor. Mr Ingelög currently manages a venture portfolio of about 20 companies with a focus on the financial sector, software and Fintech, and has apart from this co-founded a new mortgage institution in Sweden called Stabelo.

Michael Ingelög is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in Basware (BAS1V FH), where he has served on the Board of Directors since Feb 2015. Mr Ingelög is also serving on the board of embedded software company IAR Systems AB (IARB SS) where he has served on the board since 2018.

Mr Ingelög is also the Chairman of the board or board member in a number of businesses both in the UK and in the Nordic region.

Mr. Ingelog was up until August 2014 the CEO for Credit Suisse Group in the Nordic region and part of the EMEA Operating Committee for the bank, reporting to the EMEA Group CEO. In this role Mr Ingelög was setting the strategy and building the banks activities across the different divisions, turning it in to one of the most profitable regions in EMEA for Credit Suisse.

Previous to Credit Suisse, Mr Ingelög was running Deutsche Banks Global Markets division in the Nordic region between 2006 and 2010 and running Sales for Holland in parallel between 2008-2010. Previous to that was running UBS Derivatives activities for the Nordic region and for Holland between 2000 and 2006.

Mr Ingelög started his career in Sweden at Handelsbanken back in 1991 where he later also held a number of management roles until he left the bank back in 2000.

Mr Ingelög studied Economics and Business Administration at Uppsala University in Sweden. Michael is married with 3 children and lives in Stockholm since Sept 2018 after having spent the last 12 years in London.
