Sancar Tomruk

Sancar Tomruk has 25 years’ experience in financial markets based between London and Istanbul, and currently works with Centricus in London as a senior advisor.

His most recent role at Deutsche Bank Group until end of 2017 was as Head of Institutional Clients Coverage for CEEMEA region, which provided a wide spectrum of structured solutions to banks, family offices, and other financial institutions in foreign exchange, rates, equities, and commodities.

Prior to that role Sancar was co-head for the Corporate Finance & Capital Markets Solutions for Turkey, Israel, and Africa region, responsible for origination and distribution of capital markets products, such as structured lending, fixed income, foreign exchange, and equity derivatives.

At Deutsche Bank, Sancar was a member of the CEEMEA Management Committee, ICG Management Committee, and Turkey Executive Committee.

Sancar had various roles in Turkish Banking industry between 1994-2006, prior to his joining of Deutsche Bank Group, with responsibilities in local markets trading and sales over the years.

Sancar has BS in Economics from Bogazici University-Turkey, and University of Maryland- U.S.
