John Makris

John Makris is a seasoned workplace health and safety practitioner with extensive experience in advising and representing large companies and their management in industrial and workplace health and safety law. Currently serving as a Partner at Kingston Reid since November 2019, John previously held the position of Partner at K&L Gates from January 2013 to November 2019. Prior to that, John was a Partner and Special Counsel at Middletons, and held various roles including Consultant, Partner, and Solicitor at Coleman & Greig. John's early career included a solicitor position at Astley Thompson & Valtas Solicitors. Academic credentials include a Masters of Science in Safety, Health and Environment from UNSW and a BALLB in Arts Law from Macquarie University.
