Alex Nascimento

Alex Nascimento, MBA, currently serves as a Faculty Lecturer at the Master of Quantitative Economics program at UCLA since October 2023. With extensive experience in the blockchain and marketing sectors, Alex has been the Managing Director at 7CC Blockchain Investments since May 2017 and has authored a book for The STO Financial Revolution starting in August 2019. As a columnist, Alex contributes to both EXAME and Money Times, beginning in November 2020 and January 2020, respectively. Since co-founding Blockchain at UCLA in January 2017, Alex has also taught various courses at UCLA Extension, including Blockchain Business Applications and Global Marketing Strategy. Alex has held the position of Partner at 7MarketingMedia since September 2010, focusing on marketing strategy development, and served as VP of Online Marketing for TI Beverage Group from December 2008 to October 2010. Academic credentials include an MBA in Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Master's in Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and a B.A. in Business Administration - Economics from Fordham University.
