Michael Stern

Michael Stern has worked in various roles since 1988. Michael began their career as a Researcher for Los Alamos National Laboratory in Groups ESS-5 and MEE-10. In 1993, they joined D. E. Shaw & Co. as an Equity Derivatives. Michael then moved to BNP Paribas Asset Management in 1997 as a Vice President. In 1999, they became the President of Information Markets Corp. In 2003, they joined HBK Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager. In 2006, they became the Chief Investment Officer of Merrin Capital Management. In 2014, they joined Eagle's View Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager and in 2018, they became the President of Empowerment Capital. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Kinneret Group, LLC as a Managing Director and in 2022, they became an Angel Investor for Aug X Labs.

Michael Stern attended Harvard-Westlake School from 1982 to 1987. Michael then attended UWC-USA from 1987 to 1989, where they received an I.B. degree. Finally, they attended Harvard University from 1989 to 1993, where they received an A.B. degree in Government.
