Patricia Panaia

Patricia Panaia has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the veterinary and research industries. Patricia is currently the CEO of Kinotek since March 2022. Prior to their current position, Patricia served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, starting in June 2020. At Covetrus, they held the role of Vice President of Global Platform Expansion from April 2019 to December 2020. Before that, Patricia was the Vice President of B2B Sales & Marketing at Vets First Choice, where they played a pivotal role in building the company from a startup to become Covetrus. Their career at IDEXX spanned several roles, including Vice President of Global Reference Lab Marketing from May 2009 to July 2011, Vice President of European Reference Laboratories from January 2006 to May 2009, and Director of Western Regional Sales from January 2003 to December 2005. Patricia also served as the Director of Western Regional Reference Laboratories from March 1998 to December 2002 and as the General Manager of Midwest Reference Laboratories from January 1997 to February 1998. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Marketing Product Development Manager and Business Analyst at IDEXX. Patricia's extensive experience includes strategic planning, sales and marketing, operations management, and global expansion.

Patricia Panaia holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in International and Economics from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Patricia has also obtained a Certificat in French Public Law from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI). Additionally, Patricia completed their undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and French.
