Alberto Puga is a metallurgical engineer with extensive experience in optimizing mineral recovery processes. They completed their PhD in Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Utah, where they conducted significant research on ball mills and ore processing. Puga has held positions at several notable companies, including Freeport-McMoRan, Northern Star Resources Limited, and Kinross Gold Corporation, where they contributed to metallurgical accounting and process improvement initiatives. Currently, Puga is employed as a metallurgist at Kinross Gold Corporation, continuing to leverage their expertise in the field.
