Matthew Chin

Matthew Chin, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Internal Audit & Risk at Kinross Gold Corporation since 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Senior Internal Auditor at McCain Foods from 2017 to 2019 and at Celestica from 2014 to 2017. Matthew began his career in auditing at Deloitte Canada as a Senior in Assurance & Advisory from 2012 to 2014, and gained initial experience as a Staff Accountant at Eddie Katz Professional Corporation in 2011-2012. Earlier roles also include Staff Accountant (Co-op) positions at MDD Forensic Accountants in early 2010 and Williams & Partners Chartered Accountants LLP in 2009. Matthew Chin possesses academic qualifications from the University of Waterloo, including a Bachelor of Mathematics with a focus on Chartered Accountancy and a Diploma in Accounting.
