Yves Breau

Yves Breau is a seasoned professional in metallurgy and engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Metallurgy and Engineering at Kinross Gold Corporation since June 2012. Breau has held various leadership roles within Kinross, including Vice-President of Metallurgy and Processing, Director of Metallurgy, and Senior Manager of Metallurgy & Mineral Processing. Prior experience includes serving as Metallurgy Manager at IAMGOLD Corporation from October 2008 to June 2012, Mill Superintendent at Canadian Royalties for the Nunavik nickel project, and several positions in Xstrata's operations, including Smelter Superintendent and Mill Superintendent. Breau began a career in metallurgy as a Metallurgist at Barrick Gold Corporation from September 1997 to October 2002. Educationally, Breau obtained a Baccalauréat in Matériaux et Métallurgie from Université Laval between 1994 and 1997.
