Dr Nadine Booysen

Chief Clinical Officer at Kins

Dr Nadine Booysen is currently the Chief Clinical Officer and Director of Clinical Operations at Kins since 2021. Prior to this, they held an Honorary Position at the University of Southampton since 2018 and was a Consultant Researcher at Boston University since 2019. From 2011 to 2018, they were the Director of Physical Therapy & Clinical Effectiveness, Clinical Effectiveness Team Lead of MSK, Podiatry, and Pain (MPP) Services, and Research Physical Therapist at Solent NHS Trust. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Senior MSK Physical Therapist at Southampton Primary Care Trust. From 2005 to 2006, they were the Senior Specialist Rotational Physical Therapist at Southampton University Hospital NHS Trust. From 1998 to 2005, they were a Lieutenant in the South African National Defense Force, where they held roles as a Physical Therapist, Military Student, and Physical Therapist.

Dr Nadine Booysen has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Southampton, which they obtained in 2018. Dr Nadine also holds a Master of Research (MRes) in Clinical Research with Merit, also from the University of Southampton. Her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPhysT) was obtained from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. In addition, they are a Licensed Physical Therapist in both The State of New York (obtained in September 2020) and the Health & Care Professions Council UK (obtained in May 2006).
