Kelly Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, public affairs, and trauma-informed care. Currently serving as a Senior Campaigns Officer at Kinship since June 2020, Kelly is responsible for communications and public affairs initiatives. Additionally, as a Senior Project Worker and Trauma and Attachment Trained NVR Practitioner, Kelly supports kinship carers across Bradford and Calderdale. Since April 2021, Kelly has been an active member of the Kinship Carer Reference Group at the Department for Education, advocating for policy changes that benefit kinship carers nationwide. Previous roles include serving as a Parent Governor from June 2019 to February 2022 and dedicating time as a Stay at Home Mom, during which extensive study on trauma, attachment, and safeguarding was undertaken. Kelly holds several qualifications in understanding children and young people's mental health and health and social psychology from notable institutions, including Lincoln College, The Open University, and Shipley College.
