Matt Shannon

Matt Shannon has a diverse work experience with various roles in business development, marketing, and client relations. Matt currently holds the position of Head of Business Development – North America at Kinstellar, where they provide legal counsel to investors in Emerging Europe and Central Asia. Prior to this, they co-founded Expatriant and worked as a Business Development professional at Anchor Sport Business Advisors, Shearman & Sterling LLP, and Eversheds Sutherland. Matt has also held roles in client relations at Hannes Snellman and marketing and community management at Mail.Ru Group. Additionally, they have experience as a Business English Consultant and as an Interim Treasurer at Brookfield Renewable. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Business Partner at 42 Clouds, where they managed the localization and translation of a website.

Matt Shannon has a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance from the University of Maine, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Matt then pursued a Master's Degree in Jurisprudence from the Higher School of Economics from 2016 to 2017. Finally, from 2017 to 2018, they attended BPP Law School, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law.
