Saloni Gupta

Saloni Gupta's work experience began in 2009 as an Assistant Designer-Merchandiser at Evinix Industries Ltd, where they led the design process and worked on product development. Saloni then worked as a Design Intern at Kenneth Cole Productions, where they assisted with fit comments and corrections and updated design materials.

In 2012, Gupta joined Magaschoni as a Design Intern, where they forecasted trends, designed textile prints, and updated design materials. Saloni also worked as a Womenswear Designer, Private Label at HMS Productions, designing and merchandising private label lines and analyzing historical selling performance.

Gupta's next role was as a Senior Designer, Womens Knits at Jeanne Pierre, where they designed a new line of sweaters and managed all aspects of product development. Saloni then joined NYC Alliance as a Senior Designer, Women's Sweaters & Knits, managing multiple private label projects for various brands.

In 2021, Gupta joined Madewell as a Senior Designer, Women's Knits, Sleep & Swim, where they partnered with the Design Director to create a product line and collaborate with internal teams. Currently, they are working as a Textile Program Manager at Kintra Fibers, collaborating with founders to develop and manage the company's product roadmap and managing projects across multiple work streams.

Saloni Gupta completed their education in the field of fashion design. Saloni began their education in 2005 at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design degree in Knitwear Design in 2009. Saloni then pursued further education at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2011 to 2012, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Design. Additionally, Saloni Gupta obtained a certification in "INTRODUCTION TO CLO'S 3D GARMENT VISUALIZATION" from the Fashion Institute of Technology in October 2022.
