Alfred Rivinius

Alfred Rivinius has a significant amount of work experience in various roles within the engineering and research and development fields. Alfred began their career at FAG Kugelfischer AG in 1998, where they worked in positions related to bearing fundamentals and simulation as well as leading testing and advanced analysis/simulation. In 2006, they joined Schaeffler and held roles such as Director of Corporate Testing and Vice President of R&D for Asia Pacific. From 2013 to 2020, they served as the CTO of Schaeffler Europe and Vice President of Corporate R&D Management. Since 2020, Rivinius has been employed by KION Group, where they have held positions including Senior Director of Program & Process Management and Senior Director of Product Creation Processes, Tools & Data. As of 2023, they hold the role of Vice President of Engineering Excellence at KION Group.

Alfred Rivinius completed their education with a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) degree in Air- and Spacecraft Technologies from RWTH Aachen University in 1992. Alfred then pursued a higher level of education and obtained a Doktor-Ingenieur (Dr.-Ing) degree in Engineering, specifically in the field of Simulation and Mathematics, from the same university in 1997. In 1999, Alfred Rivinius attended the Steinbeis Academy Stuttgart / Donau University Krems where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
