Jakub Watemborski

Jakub Watemborski has diverse work experience in supply chain and procurement roles. Jakub currently holds the position of Director of Global Supplier Risk & Capacity Management at KION Group. Prior to this, they worked at Accenture as a Manager in Supply Chain/Sourcing & Procurement, and also as a Consultant in the same field. Jakub gained experience at EY as a Supply Chain and Operations Consultant, where they focused on manufacturing excellence and procurement & sourcing. Before that, Jakub worked at OptiBuy Procurement Solutions, both as an Interim Consultant and Consultant. Additionally, they were an Ambassador at Deloitte and completed an internship at Industrial Development Agency JSC. Through their various roles, Jakub has acquired skills in project management, training and coaching, implementing production management standards, manufacturing data analytics, and optimizing transportation costs.

Jakub Watemborski attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2019 for a Data Driven Consulting (DDC) Virtual Program. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they attended SGH Warsaw School of Economics and received a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Finance and Accounting. Jakub also had an exchange program at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2012 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Finance and Accounting at SGH Warsaw School of Economics from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they participated in the Polish-German Academic Forum at SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification in January 2021 and the APICS CPIM - Basics of Supply Chain Management certification in August 2017.
