Julian Knippel

Julian Knippel is an experienced professional in the field of commodity management and strategic sourcing, currently serving as Commodity Manager for Electrics & Electronics and Power Electrics & Automation at KION Group since October 2021. Prior to this role, Julian was a Senior Manager in Strategic Sourcing & Cluster Management at Lufthansa Group from February 2019 to September 2021 and held positions as Category Manager and Procurement Manager at Lufthansa Cargo AG between April 2015 and January 2019. Earlier in Julian's career, a position as Research Associate at WifOR Institute was held from October 2011 to March 2015. Julian holds a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree from Technische Universität Berlin (2011-2015) and a Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. degree from Technische Universität Darmstadt (2004-2011).
