Brian Price

Brian Price is the current CEO and Co-Founder of Kion, a company they previously worked for from July 2016 to August 2018 as Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for developing go-to-market strategies for commercial business growth in the areas of DevOps, Cyber Security and Cloud Infrastructure IT Services. Prior to their time at Kion, Brian worked as the Cyber Solutions Manager at Van Dyke Technology Group from February 2014 to July 2016. In this role, they oversaw applied cyber research and development activities yielding a portfolio of FOSS, COTS and custom developed cyber capabilities to aide small to mid-sized commercial business organizations. Brian also designed, developed, and implemented the first successful internship program for the company. Additionally, Brian built teaming relationships with other technology vendors and cyber companies and oversaw technical delivery of several cyber engagements including managing security engineers to ensure comprehensiveness and quality standards were achieved and briefing senior clients (CIOs and CISOs) to provide testing results aligned to business risks. Furthermore, they identified commercial, state, and local government cyber opportunities across multiple industry sectors and led proposal responses to capture business. Brian also implemented systems to automate and standardize core business operations including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Atlassian JIRA, and Salesforce.com. Lastly, they developed marketing artifacts including pitch decks, slick sheets and white papers.

Brian Price has a B.S. in Computer Science from Salisbury University and a minor in Mathematics and Information Systems.
