John Lynch

John Lynch is currently the COO at Kion, a position they have held since October of 2018. Prior to their current role, John served as the Vice President of Operations at Kion from November of 2017 to December of 2018. Before joining Kion, John worked as a financial specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems from February of 2017 to November of 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Financial Analyst at PROTEUS Technologies - A Polaris Alpha Company from January of 2014 to February of 2017, where they were responsible for programmatic reporting and analytics and creating reports to analyze the performance of individual government contracts. John has also worked on proposals for new government programs and extending current programs, and has experience with FFP, FFP/LOE, CP/LOE, CPAF, CPFF and T&M government proposals. John has also coordinated and delivered rate negotiations with Prime and subcontractors. John is experienced in providing rate analysis to corporate management to ensure a proposal will be both successful and profitable. In addition, they have prepared and analyzed consolidated reporting at all levels of the organization on actuals and forecast, with a primary focus on producing monthly reports necessary for management of the business. John has also developed a reporting tool utilizing Excel's PowerPivot feature to blend financial data from various systems to create a usable and informative financial reporting tool to improve the Company leadership’s decision making ability.

They are on a team with Carrie Bothmer - HR Director, Randy Shore - VP Delivery & Support, and Marianna Noll - VP Marketing. Their manager is Brian Price, CEO & Co-Founder.
