Alysson Bobby (Malgieri)

Alysson (Malgieri) Bobby has a strong background in education, with a focus on primary schools. Alysson served as the Director of Academics for Primary Schools at KIPP Chicago from 2018 and is currently in this position. Prior to that, they were the Principal at ReGeneration Schools - CICS Washington Park starting from 2016. From 2013 to 2016, Alysson worked at KIPP New Jersey, where they held the roles of Culture Chair for First Grade and First Grade Teacher and Grade Level Chair. Alysson also has experience as a First Grade Teacher at KIPP NJ: SPARK Academy from 2012 to 2014 and as a Teacher at Newark Educators' Community Charter School from 2009 to 2012.

Alysson (Malgieri) Bobby pursued a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Saint Joseph's University, from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they furthered their education by obtaining a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Teachers College, Columbia University between 2015 and 2016.
