Amber Cooper

Amber Cooper has a diverse background in education and media. Currently serving as a High School Transition Advisor at KIPP Chicago since July 2024, Amber previously held the position of High School Bridge Counselor at Chicago Jesuit Academy from May 2023 to June 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Multimedia Journalist at Gray Television from November 2022 to April 2023, and as a Graduate Student at Northwestern University Medill School from September 2021 to August 2022, where Amber earned a degree in Medill Journalism, focusing on Video and Broadcast. Amber's earlier experiences include managing social media accounts at WHBC 96.3 HD3, interning at Spark Foundry, and contributing as an Agency Marketing Intern at Flowers Communications Group. Amber's foundation in education began at Chicago Jesuit Academy as a Province Scholar, assisting middle school students in literacy skills. Amber holds a Bachelor's degree in public relations from Howard University, completed in 2021, and graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep in 2017.
