Ashante Collins

Ashante Collins is an experienced educator with a strong focus on special education. Currently serving as a Lead Teacher at KIPP Chicago since August 2022, Ashante previously worked at KIPP New Orleans as a Special Education Teacher and Dean of Student Services from July 2018 to August 2022. Additional experience includes a role as a Special Education Teacher at New Orleans College Prep and as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Noble Network of Charter Schools, where responsibilities included supporting students and implementing accommodations for IEPs. Ashante holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Illinois State University, with notable achievements including a 100% high school graduation rate and post-secondary success for students supported.
