Brandi Pearman

Brandi Pearman possesses extensive experience in education and theatre, having worked as a Teacher at KIPP Chicago since July 2022, after previous teaching positions at Chicago International Charter School and Charter Schools USA. Brandi began a career in education following a role as Manager of Teacher Leadership Development with Teach For America and served as a Teacher at Frazier Preparatory Academy. Prior experience includes an instructional role at Dallas Children's Theater, focusing on culturally diverse programming, and administrative experience as Business Manager at Eastern Michigan University and as an Allen Lee Hughes Fellow at Arena Stage. Brandi holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Howard University, a Master of Arts in Drama/Theatre for the Young from Eastern Michigan University, and a Type 04 Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Dominican University.
