Cory Washington

Cory Washington is currently the Head of Schools for Middle Schools at KIPP Chicago. Previously, Cory served as a Principal at KIPP Delta Public Schools, Assistant Principal at Yazoo City Municipal School District, and Lead Teacher at Jackson Public Schools. Cory also has experience as a Literacy Specialist/Coach at Children's Defense Fund and as a Reading Specialist at America Reads Mississippi. Cory holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arkansas State University, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Belhaven University, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi.
