Director Of High School Transition at KIPP Chicago

Pay Williams has a diverse work experience. They began their career in 2011 as a Student Office Assistant at the University of South Florida ROTC Army. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an H.O.S.T. Instructor at Hillsborough County Public Schools. In 2015, they joined Teach For America as a Corps Member and later served as a Communication Operation Specialist during the Summer Institute. Simultaneously, they worked at KIPP Texas Public Schools as a Founding Lead Teacher and Grade Level Chair. In 2019, Pay Williams joined KIPP Chicago as a High School Transition Advisor and eventually became a Team Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Director of High School Transition at KIPP Chicago.

Pay Williams attended the University of South Florida from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.
