Alison Smith is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in elementary art education, currently serving as an Elementary Art Teacher at KIPP Colorado Public Schools since July 2024. Prior roles include serving as an Elementary Art Teacher and Program Head at Cherry Creek School District and as a Lead Teacher in Elementary and Early Childhood settings. Alison also has experience in youth coaching with Soccer Shots Denver and customer service at CVS Health. Educational contributions include organizing college financial and stress management workshops and providing free tutoring to elementary students across multiple states. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College and an Associate's degree from Harford Community College.

KIPP Colorado Schools is a local network of free, college-preparatory public charter schools whose mission is to equip our students with the academic skills and character strengths necessary to succeed in college and the competitive world beyond. Since opening our first school in Southwest Denver in 2002, KIPP Colorado has grown to operate five schools in some of Denver's most underserved neighborhoods.
