Educator (5th Grade Mathematics) at KIPP Columbus

Neysa Jenkins is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching, particularly in mathematics and STEM subjects. Currently, Neysa serves as an Educator for 5th Grade Mathematics and acts as the Lead Teacher and Mathematics Content Leader at KIPP Columbus since July 2018. Previous positions include Educator at Shelby County Schools (August 2017 - July 2018), STEM Educator at Metro Nashville Public Schools (June 2016 - July 2017), and Educator at Williamson County Schools (June 2012 - June 2016). Neysa's career began in Johnson City Schools, where the role involved teaching both elementary and middle school students from January 1999 to June 2012. Neysa holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's Science in Education with a focus on early childhood development, both obtained from East Tennessee State University.
