Brandi Burke (She/Her/Hers)

Brandi Burke joined KIPP DC in October 2022 as Associate Director of Student Policy. She is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina where she not only attended school in the city’s public education system growing up, but also had the privilege to teach science at a Title I middle school after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Winston-Salem State University and joining the 2018 Teach For America Corp. This experience really solidified her path to further pursue a career in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020 prior to joining KIPP DC. In her free time, Brandi enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts and traveling.
