Xernalia K. Marshall (She/her)

Xernalia is happily walking into her 11th academic school year with KIPP DC. Prior to working with KIPP DC, Xernalia was the Assistant Deputy Director of the Little Blue House, a non-profit organization that provided resources and services to students and families in Washington D.C. In 2012 she became a Kindergarten CTR at Grow Academy. After 9 beautiful years as Grow Academy’s Kindergarten Special Education teacher, Xernalia became the Founding Kindergarten Special Education teacher at Pride Academy. Now as an ECE Recruitment Manager, Xernalia looks forward to finding the best educators to work closely with our KIPP DC scholars. When Xernalia isn’t recruiting she’s leading her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and directing the Children’s Ministry at her church.
